I Wish

Sometimes when I am all alone and feeling blue.

My thoughts keep drifting back to you

I wonder will I be ever able to love you

In this world …..Just the way I want to

My dreams come and hold my hand

And they take me to a far away land

My soul flies away to a special place

Beyond the sun, the stars and space

This is a place so very special to me

Because it is just you and me here I see

This is where I love you without fear

Where only your heart beats I can hear

This is where there is no sadness to feel 

Where all wounds will heal

This is where our hearts are chained no more

Where our souls have wings to fly and soar

This is where I clearly hear your soft whispers into my ear,

And I can tell you all the beautiful things you want to hear.

I wish I could release my soul from deep within…

I wish I could live next to you as your second skin

I wish my dream would go on and on with such clarity

I wish we could get to stay in this place till eternity
